I only recently saw your notein the Middle East (Jordan) area of the Couchsurfing Group...

conmcerning your Mediterranean Map[ game...

I thought it was a good idea.....

but I am a "cheater" since i was once a professional map artist (municipality maps for city government, flood control projects, aerial photomaps for zoning, ewtc...) and i come from generations of map people---we sailed long distances over the centuriews....and i also studied Middle Easy History in University...and i enjoytravel in the mediterranean, including barcelona....

but i did what you said, and i tried to immediately draw a map.....without lifting the pen from the paper...I started with the North Africa (Morroccan) part of the Straits of Gibraltar, following aroound through North Africa...covering Morrocco, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, and the Suez Canal, then started up the coast...but my dog was bothering me and needed to immediately go outrsie...he even made me raise the pen off the paper, so i had to finish immediately after he came back in (I always have to take him out on the leash, so it was really a numberof minutes...) thewn i continued where he had interuppted me....following aloong the coastline showinglebanon, Syria and Turkey, then across the map showing Borsphorous and Asia Minor (Thrace and Greece) then across to Italy, around that peninsula over to France and Finishing in Spain, down to Gibraltar.....

but i felt that i needed to show all the major islands, many of which i have visited.....

and then i thought about The Dolphinian Empire...a large area administered by the Dolphins,

who often visitour coast line, in Israel, along with whales.....

EL GRAN POST / THE BIG POST

This is the first and last post that I will write just in english, but the subject it’s worthy.

First of all I want to thank all the people who took part of this project, without them it would not have been possible. Even though you may not know what I am talking about, don’t worry, I’m going to explain it to you right now.

One night some weeks ago, I couldn’t sleep because I had a question wandering into my head. Finally, I decided that I would try to answer it the next day. So when I woke up, I went immediately to the web: http://www.couchsurfing.com and I started to ask it to different people and groups. A few moments later my question began to recieve answers.

You’d be wondering which was my question. Very simple: How the people of the different countries in the world draw the Mediterranean Sea?

El simpàtic administrador m'ha dit que no tornés a enviar tants mails, que el sistema em tornava a marcar com a spam, i m'ha donat una alternativa que està donant uns meravellosos resultats


són tant fantàstics, que així que vegi que les respostes van de baixa, començaré a preparar el post

a més estic coneixent eslovens i polonesos i búlgars i ben aviat aniré a fer un cafè amb una noia bielorussa o sigui que tot plegat està essent molt fantàstic

em començava a preocupar la falta de respostes als meus mails, o sigui que he intentat esbrinar què passava

resulta que dels 1400 enviats, només se n'havien enviat realment uns cent

100!

ho he parlat amb un dels administradors i m'ha dit que el que ha passat és que, qualsevol que envii aquesta enorme quantitat de missatges, és identificat immediatament com a spam, però que ha llegit el missatge i m'ha desbloquejat

el que no tinc clar és si haig de reenviar de nou tots els mails. Suposo que sí
